Et Jonathan dit à David : Eternel, Dieu d'Israël, quand j'aurai sondé mon père à cette heure-ci, demain ou après-demain, et si cela va bien pour David, et que je n'envoie pas vers toi pour t'en informer,

"I will find out what time Jonathan's father plans to do you harm, and I will inform you and help you escape."
